I am a neutered male & I look like a Labrador Retriever mix
The shelter staff think I am 1 year and 1 month old.
Hi there, I’m Basi, a lively and curious pup looking for my forever home! My time in foster care taught me a lot about the world, and my foster family learned a lot about me too. I’m full of energy and always curious about everything around me. Sometimes, new experiences can be a bit overwhelming for me—things like washing machines, fireworks, and crowds of people can make me a little skittish.
But give me some time, and I start to feel more comfortable. I’ve learned to enjoy hikes and love rolling in the grass at the park! I even picked up potty training and the “sit” command quickly. I’ll sit before you give me food or a toy, just signal me with an outreached fist. I’m friendly towards other dogs, cats, and people!
I do have lots of energy, so I need plenty of exercise. If I don't get enough, I might get into things I shouldn’t. Tough chews help keep me occupied and make crate time easier. I think I’d do best with someone who has lots of land and time to continue my training. If you’re looking for a smart, eager-to-please dog, I might just be the perfect fit for you!
